What is a Collective / System?_{A Collective or System is someone with Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID), or Other Specified Dissociative Disorder (OSDD). People with these disorders have at LEAST 2 distinct personalities, also known as alters or headmates. The amount of headmates a system has... is unlimited, and having over 100 alters does NOT mean somebody is faking DID/OSDD, they may have a lot of trauma.}

How do you know if you're a system?_{Me personally, I don't agree with self diagnosis very much unless it is MANDATORY (which it was in my case, but I have been diagnosed with a dissociative disorder.. NOT specifically DID or OSDD yet, due to therapist issues). However, one of our therapists believed me and tried to get us to a psychiatrist, which didn't work out due to us being too "mentally unstable", so that's fun.}
Why did you self diagnose?
_{Like I said before, I had trouble with therapists not believing me or being "uncomfortable" when talking about DID or OSDD, I just recently got diagnosed with a dissociative disorder, and it took me two years to get that. I was also in an abusive household who didn't believe in disorders, so ofc I had no way of actually getting diagnosed. That's why I diagnosed myself when I was 14.}

-A traumagenic DID/OSDD System.
-Mostly made up of fictives (which are alters of fictional characters).
-Triggered very easily! PLS ask before venting or talking about triggering topics!
-We want to take responsibility for our headmate's actions.. especially if an argument is started or if drama is happening because of them/us, so if something happens between you and one of our alters please let us know even if we don't remember it!
-We LOVE making new friends, but we tend to get overprotective of others, so if it makes you uncomfy please tell us!!
-Some of us have typing quirks, so if you can't read what we're saying, please ask us to translate it for you!
